Cinereomyces dilutabilis
Cinereomyces dilutabilis is a lignicolous polypore species. It occurs in Atlantic Forest areas in Brazil and tropical dry forests in Costa Rica. Despite its 12 records, it is expected that the species occurs throughout Atlantic forest fragments in Brazil and in other dry tropical forest areas in Central America. Based on the threats to the species and its habitat, such as human occupation, fire, alien species and climate change, C. dilutabilis is considered Near Threatened based on the IUCN assessment criteria, with an expected reduction of 20-25% in its population.
