Rubroporus carneoporis

Rubroporus carneoporis is a basidiomycete wood-rotting species that grows on dead trees. It is considered rare, with just two occurrences in southern Brazil. The species second occurrence happened 20 years after its description, even with its distribution in a well-sampled area. It is estimated that the species occurs in the Atlantic Forest, Araucaria Forest, and Semidecidual Forests of the Uruguay River. Despite the threats that the species is submitted, it is not possible to assess it due to the lack of data. Furthermore, R. carneoporis is considered Data Deficient, based on the IUCN criteria.
